This Cookie Policy explains how QuickFix uses cookies and similar technologies on the QuickFix website and web apps. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and device identifiers used for login sessions and notifications.
2. Types we use
- Strictly necessary: authentication tokens, session security, CSRF/load balancing, and preference storage required for the Platform to function (e.g. keeping you logged in as customer, provider, store, or admin).
- Functional: theme (light/dark), language or UI preferences, and dismissing banners.
- Analytics / performance (if enabled): aggregated usage to improve reliability. We will not use non-essential analytics cookies without appropriate notice/consent where required.
- Marketing (if enabled in future): only with consent where legally required; not used for selling personal data.
3. Examples on QuickFix
- Auth / token storage for panel and customer sessions
- Guest cart data in browser storage until merge after login
- Theme selection
- Cookie consent preference (whether you accepted this notice)
- FCM / notification permission state on supported browsers
4. Third-party cookies
Payment pages, maps, or embedded tools (e.g. Razorpay, Google Maps, Firebase) may set their own cookies or local data subject to those providers' policies. We encourage you to review their notices.
5. How to control cookies
- Use our on-site cookie banner preferences where available.
- Block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break login, checkout, or panel access.
- Revoke notification permissions in browser/OS settings.
